An Ordinance to amend further the Magistrates Ordinance,

1932.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Magistrates Short title. Amendment Ordinance, 1936.

2. Section 26 of the Magistrates Ordinance, 1932, is Repeal of repealed.

Ordinance No. 41 of 1932, s. 26.

3. Sub-section (5) of section 108 of the Magistrates Substitution Ordinance, 1932, is repealed and the following sub-section substituted therefor :-

(5) The appellant, if then in custody, shall be liberated on the recognizance being further conditioned for his appear- ance at the hearing of the appeal and for his submission to the judgment of the Full Court.

4. Sub-section (1) of section 109 of the Magistrates Substitution Ordinance, 1932, is repealed and the following sub-section is for Ordin- substituted therefor:

5. Section 118E (i) of the Magistrates Ordinance, 1932, Amendment enacted by section 2 of the Magistrates Amendment of Ordinance Ordinance, 1935, is amended by the addition of the following 1932, words at the end thereof :-
